Am 7. Juli 2008 treffen sich die mächtigsten Politiker der Welt beim G8-Gipfel in Japan.
Teilnehmen werden nicht nur die Regierungschefs von Deutschland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Japan, Kanada, Russland und den USA (das sind die G8-Staaten), sondern auch die von Brasilien, China, Indien, Mexiko und Südafrika.
Diese 13 Länder sind die Hauptverursacher des Klimawandels, aber auch diejenigen mit der größten Macht ihn zu stoppen. Deshalb schreiben wir ihnen, was sie für den Klimaschutz und gegen die Umweltzerstörung tun sollen!

Thousands of children from all over the world are getting involved in Kids Call. Your messages will be collected by the World Future Council, which will hand over all the letters and messages to the most powerful politicians in the world when they meet at the G8 summit 2008 in Japan.
