The SOS Children’s village Sarajewo was opened in February 1998. More than 100 children live here together with their SOS Children’s village-mothers in 16 family houses. It lies in a suburb of Sarajevo.
In the Children’s village international understanding is very important. Here Muslim and Serbian children grow up together, girls and boys of Croatian origin grow up together with Roma children. They all form a peaceful community. And on the playground there is place for everyone.
