Since the premier at the Hamburg planetarium in September the Corridor of Hope has been shown at different events. Especially schools are showing interest in the WFC / KidsCall invocation flags exhibition because it visualizes the importance of climate change for the kids from all over the world. Their messages call for climate protection and thus for protection of their future!
Schools play an important role not only in education, but should also increase the consciousness for the challenges mankind is facing in our world. And how best to archive a change for the better by not just speaking about it in the class rooms, but also by students participation in climate protection projects in schools. Become a role model in this should be the motto.
This topic is present at the schools of Hamburg which are trying to do their part and contribute for a better climate. Thus at the end of the Hamburg Climate Protection Day in November 2008 the most active and climate friendly schools in Hamburg were decorated to honor their engagement. The Corridor of Hope demonstrated here that global problems can only be solved together.
In addition to the Hamburg Climate Protection Day 2008 the Corridor of Hope was also presented at the Otto-Hahn Schule. This school celebrated the 10th decoration as an environmental school in Europe and arranged a project week.
So the appeals of the kids are being heard and impress as well as inspire adults and decision makers. If your school or organization is interested in borrowing the flags please feel free to contact us at kids@kidscall.info or call us on +49 (0)40-30 70 914-28.
